• Updating your resume is an important step in helping open up different opportunities in college such as student leadership, undergraduate research, part-time jobs, internships, scholarships and future full-time jobs post-graduation
• CAS Career Coaches are offering drop-in resume reviews virtually and in-person.
• Drop-in resume reviews are about 15-20 minutes and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Virtual Conversation with a Recreation Planner
Wednesday, Sept. 15th, 10-11am, via Zoom
• Join us on the third Wednesday of each month as we highlight 12 different careers within the Game and Parks realm. These live interviews will be conducted via ZOOM and each month we will focus on a different career within Nebraska Game and Parks.
• Here, students and the public will be encouraged to ask questions relating to the career field, during the live interview. Presenters will also be showcasing photos, props and new information on their daily life in their job.

Brooke Owens Fellowship (Career in Aerospace)
• Paid internship and executive mentorship for exceptional undergraduate women and non-binary students in Aerospace
• Applicants must:
o Identify as an undergraduate women or gender-minority
o Have an interest in the aerospace industry: anything from engineering to policy to communications
o Be available for a summer 2022 internships

GAINING EXPERIENCE
Volunteer Undergraduate Research Assistants Needed
• We are currently conducting the adolescent phase of a large longitudinal study examining the relationship between aspects of youth’s cognitive development and health outcomes. We are looking for outstanding and motivated students with a 3.5 GPA or higher to help with data entry, scanning, and routine office tasks. Students with late afternoon and/or evening availability are also needed to assist with lab sessions. Other special projects may be assigned based on interest and skill. Student volunteers should be available for 4-6 hours per week. As paid positions or course credit options arise, they will be offered to students who have first demonstrated excellence in a volunteer position. These positions are within Dr. Timothy Nelson’s Pediatric Health Lab, located in the 501 Building’s Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab space.
