Nebraska Academy of Sciences will hold their conference on Friday, April 22nd in a hybrid format (in-person option at Nebraska Wesleyan).
Submit an abstract by March 25th to present your work! You may use papers or posters prepared for courses - capstone/end of course papers are perfect. You must select the "Anthropology" section (even if it is Global Studies or Geography content) when you register for the conference. All student registrations will be paid for by the School of Global Integrative Studies, so it's free for you to present and attend other sessions! You should NOT pay for the registration, but note that UNL SGIS will be paying for you. Be sure to email Dr. Taylor Livingston after you've submitted so that we can cover your registration!
If you are presenting in person and would like lunch, you can pay for a lunch ticket when you register or do it day-of when you check in.
**Anthropology students who present at this conference will be eligible for the McGinnis award, awarded to one undergraduate and one graduate student.
If you have any questions, please email Dr. Taylor Livingston
