Gilman Foreign Policy in Focus: Global Food Security Application for In-person Seminars Reminder

The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is pleased to announce the Gilman Foreign Policy in Focus: Global Food Security Seminar Series. The series consists of four virtual seminars, followed by four in-person seminars between June and August, in Washington, DC, Colombia, New Zealand and Zimbabwe.

The application for the 4 in-person seminars (1 domestic, 3 overseas) is currently open. Gilman alumni can apply to attend one of these fully funded events in Washington, DC, Colombia, New Zealand and Zimbabwe. You can indicate your location preferences in the application.

Please note that acceptance to one of the in-person seminars is contingent upon participation in or confirming viewing of the recordings of four virtual seminars (two have taken place and two are upcoming). The registration is open for the virtual events and the first recording is online. Additional details can be found in the application, or on the Gilman website. These virtual events are primarily for Gilman scholars and alumni, but open to all students at U.S. colleges and universities.

Please direct any questions regarding either event to GilmanEvents@iie.org.
