The Field Museum in Chicago is offering several paid internship opportunities working with Anthropology collections. Interns get extensive hands-on experience and the opportunity to work alongside fellow interns who share their interests, as well as scientists and researchers who are world-renowned leaders in their fields.

Regenstein Pacific Collections/Conservation Internships
These internships aim to provide each intern with experience in caring for collections from the Pacific.
Boone Scholars Internship
This internship will work with collections staff on projects related to the study and long-term care of the East Asian collections.
Mullins-Martin Internship
In 2026, the Martin-Mullins Internship will be based in the Museum’s conservation section, with work primarily focused on the Native North American collections.
Anthropology Alliance Collections Internship
This internship will focus on working with archaeological collections from Central and South America.
Anthropology Registration Internship
This internship will focus on processing new acquisitions, including cataloging, labeling, photography, and collections housing, while other registration and collection projects will also be available.
