"State Sovereignty and Outer Space: Controlling Conflicts in the Space Age"
Why do sovereign states enter into agreements to regulate outer space and transnational space? And what is their record thus far? What are the prospects of military actions in outer space? Can these be prevented?
Frans von der Dunk was born in the Netherlands and holds two doctorates from the University of Leiden. At UNL he teaches in the program in Space, Cyber, and Telecommunications Law. He has been consultant to a wide range of organizations, including the United Nations, and has published widely in his field and in public media. He is member of numerous international policy organizations.
