Meredith Kos has a decade of experience managing public-private partnerships focused on increasing opportunities for farmers in the global south. An experienced project manager, Meredith has handled budgets and set forecasts up to $5 million, hired and trained over 150 local staff and opened offices across three continents. Rooted in her farm family upbringing, Meredith is dedicated to assisting companies strengthen and understand their social impact, while helping farmers in developing countries move from subsistence agriculture into sustainable, vibrant value chains.
Ms. Kos has served a Deputy Chief of Party, Land O’Lakes International Development Division, Lilongwe, Malawi, Project Coordinator, Crisis Mitigation and Democratic Governance Group, Development Alternatives, Inc (DAI), Bethesda, MD , and Research Consultant, Sustainable Economic Growth Office, USAID, Lilongwe, Malawi. In addition, she has worked in Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, East Timor, Ghana, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Sri Lanka and Zambia.
