Why Global Studies?
I chose global studies because I love learning about the differences in people and cultures around the world. I have loved all of my Global Studies classes because they are all so different and I feel like I learn so much in each one. My suggestion for new Global Studies majors is to get involved in something other than classes that lets you experience other cultures. It’s one thing to read about another culture, its another to actually experience it.
Study Abroad and Post-Graduation Plans:
I am going this Summer to Spain to study for 6 weeks. I have yet to decide on a City but I’m considering several coastal cities so I can be near the ocean. I am most excited to experience the food and improve my Spanish skills. After I graduate I would really like to get an internship abroad somewhere and continue to experience other cultures.
