Favorite book: The Book Thief because I love to see people and situations who are so dedicated to doing what is right and what they are passionate about even if the situation is less than ideal.

Favorite movie: The Imitation Game because I love to see people conquer adversity and low odds of succeeding.

Why Global Studies:
I chose Global Studies as a major because I feel a deep rooted obligation to help people of the world as a Global Citizen. In a career I hope to always be working towards the greater good for people of all walks of life, and with Global Studies I feel as if I will always have a purpose.

Study Abroad Experience:
My study abroad experience in Peru was incredible. I learned about community wellness, sustainability, and public health in Lima, Cuzco, and indigenous communities, but I also learned so much more. Gaining a cultural understanding of the world is something that I crave, and I gained an understanding of Peru during my time abroad last summer. I can’t wait to continue my journey of traveling and learning along the way.

Future Plans:
I hope to attain a masters degree in Hospital Administration after finishing my undergraduate degree here at UNL. Ideally, I want to someday be the CEO of a hospital.
