Young Democrats, College Republicans, Young Americans for Liberty (libertarians), and the Young Democratic Socialists for America will all come together for a forum on current issues which will be moderated by Pi Sigma Alpha, the nonpartisan Political Science Honor Society. The forum will take place on March 14th from 7-9pm in the Union Ballroom on city campus. After the forum, there will be refreshments provided.
The forum will discuss topics from immigration to press and media to gun control. The forum will begin with questions posed by Pi Sigma Alpha members and then will be turned over to the audience for questions. The goal of the forum is to have an educational discussion on different views and the reasoning behind them. We want the audience to understand the "why" behind certain political stances, even if they disagree. The forum will remain civil and respectful. Any individuals that do not act accordingly will be asked to leave. Please come ready to ask meaningful questions and listen with an open mind.
