With September flying by, you may be pondering: To be or not to be a Global Studies major or minor?

That is the question.

For those of you getting a minor, perhaps are you are wondering about the feasibility of declaring a Global Studies major. How does an interdisciplinary major like Global Studies fit together with your other majors and minors? How could it enhance your intellectual interests, love of international travel, and post-graduation goals? We are always looking for motivated, eclectic, and internationally-savvy students to represent Global Studies and the university at large.
Whether you’re a Global Studies minor— or even a major in need of some direction and encouragement— I encourage you to schedule an appointment with me to discuss major requirements. Together, we can review your degree audit, and map out courses focused on your short- and long-term goals. After all, this dynamic, interdisciplinary major opens local, regional, and international doors for students.
If you schedule before October 22—the beginning of Priority Registration—we can plan for your Spring 2019, in addition to discussing major requirements and courses.

I look forward to seeing you!
