The Global Case Competition is an opportunity for students to work as a global team to solve a global business challenge that cuts across multiple disciplines. The challenge is a case study from a real company. Therefore, students will be given 10 days to conduct their research and then present their solution to the case.
Judging Criteria: Teams will be evaluated by a panel of business professionals for overall presentation, business strategy, and quality of research. The winning team of the Global Case Competition will receive $3,000, second place will receive $1,500, and third place will receive $500.
Application Process:
1. Form a global team of 1-2 American and 1-2 international students. A team comprised of all American students with different backgrounds is acceptable. For example, an African American, an Asian American, a European American, an Indian American, and a Native American can form a team. Teams may have no more than five members and no less than three members.
2. Ensure that at least two departments (majors or minors) are represented on your team. Team members from colleges outside of the College of Business are also encouraged to participate.
