Interviews are now being scheduled for the Summer 2012 Nebraska Master Naturalist Certification Trainings, June 17-23 at the Nature Conservancy Niobrara Valley Preserve, or July 22- 28 at Omaha and Lincoln area nature centers.

The camp-style trainings will meet all day, every day for one week. Participants in the program will explore Nebraska along with scientists and natural resource professionals, contribute their time and expertise through volunteer opportunities, and connect with others who share a passion for the outdoors. Certification training costs $250.

Participants in the June camp at the Niobrara Valley Preserve will stay in bunk houses and explore the beauty of the preserve with local and regional experts. Participants in the July training will spend the week roaming the natural areas near Lincoln and Omaha with some of Nebraska’s best and brightest instructors.
