CASNR Awards Call for Nominations!

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Dean’s Office invites you to submit nominations for the Lawrence K. Crowe Outstanding Undergraduate Advising Award, the Graduate Student Advising Award, the Holling Family Teaching Excellence Awards, and the CASNR Staff Inclusive Excellence Award.

The Lawrence K. Crowe Outstanding Undergraduate Advising Award, established in 1983, recognizes a faculty member who has made outstanding contributions in undergraduate advising.

The Graduate Student Advising Award acknowledges excellence and lasting impact relating to successful graduate research mentoring, individualized advising, distinguished scholarly/creative activity, and innovative pedagogy.

The Holling Family Teaching Excellence Awards have been recognizing exceptional teaching in IANR since 1998 with over 200 awards presented in the senior, junior faculty, and teaching assistant categories. IANR is known for outstanding teaching and for fostering a collaborative community that enhances the lives of the people we serve.

Detailed guidelines and nomination submission links for each award can be found on the CASNR Website at http://casnr.unl.edu/faculty-awards. Nominations can be submitted online until 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2024.

Award recipients will be recognized at the CASNR Awards Luncheon scheduled for May 10, 2024 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Nebraska East Union.
