The fourth annual Geography Alumni Newsletter is now accessible from the Geography and GIScience webpage. This is the fourth year that the Geography program has produced a newsletter for its alumni, updating them on the year’s activities and the progress of students and graduates.
Student involvement in activities such as NaturePalooza and Geography Awareness Week are highlighted, as well as faculty and student presentations at professional meetings and academic achievements. Alumni are notified via email or postcard that the newsletter is available online and this year over 600 alumni were contacted.
In past years feedback has been positive and alumni have generously contributed updates of their accomplishments since leaving UNL.
