'Thank A Teacher' pairs with 'Drops of Gratitude': March 23-27

Hardin Hall
Hardin Hall

The Center for Transformative Teaching is inviting all UNL students to join the Thank A Teacher initiative from March 23-27, a simple but meaningful way to recognize the instructors who have made a difference in your academic experience. Whether it was a professor who made a tough concept finally click, a lecturer who brought energy to a morning class, or an instructor who offered encouragement when you needed it most – your thanks matters.

Ways to Share Your Appreciation:
• Stop by a Thank A Teacher booth and handwrite your message! We’ll be at City and East Campus Unions from 11am – 1pm between March 23-27, as well as have other pop-up locations across campus.
• Find cards in Student Services area
• Submit your thank-you online through our quick digital appreciation form.

All notes will be collected and delivered by the Center for Transformative Teaching (CTT) to the instructor(s) you choose, brightening their day and reminding them why their work matters.

Let’s come together to celebrate the instructors who have supported us, challenged us, and helped us grow. Take a moment during the week of March 23 to write a note and spread some Husker gratitude!

This initiative is similar to SNR's 'Drops of Gratitude'.
Around Hardin, you will find small buckets with blank drops of Gratitude that you will fill out with:
1. The name of the person
2. Why you appreciate them (feel free to put down any reason either personal or professional)

The buckets are located:
1. Desk of the Maps and More Store (1st floor)
2. Hallway on the 2nd floor between the North and South wings, outside of the Graduate Student offices
3. 8th floor by the elevators
4. 9th floor by 901 and the elevators

The drops will be collected on the last working day of each month. Once gathered, an email will be sent out to everyone in SNR recognizing these people and that a drop has been left for them. While we are redoing the Drops board to a new and improved area, all drops will be in the recipients mailboxes down in the Maps and More store.
