Sara Winn will receive the UNL Parents Association “Certificate of Recognition for Contributions to Students” in honor of her continued work to improve students’ experiences on campus.
“I am so honored,” said Winn, undergraduate advising coordinator in the School of Natural Resources. “To be nominated by a student means that I made a difference in someone’s life – and that means the world to me.”
UNL students nominate staff or faculty members who have “made a significant contribution to their lives while at UNL.” The UNL Parents Association collects these nominations and presents the awards.
“I love working with our students and helping them grow and develop into young professionals,” said Winn. “I truly have the best job.”
UNL’s Teaching Council and the Parents Association will present this award at a reception on February 8, at 2:30 p.m. in the Centennial Room of the UNL City Campus Union.
This will be Winn’s first UNL Parents Association Recognition Award.
