Join the "SNR Scavenger Hunt," which begins Dec. 2 and is ongoing until 10:30 a.m., Dec. 11. Clues to items placed in locations throughout and outside of Hardin Hall will be put on the SNR Facebook/Twitter sites and on computer screens in the SNR classrooms, conference rooms and 24/7 computer labs.
Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, a set of clues to a new location will be posted. To get credit for discovering the location, take a picture of yourself at the location. You can either tweet the image to @UNLSNR: https://twitter.com/UNLSNR, or post it to the SNR Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/UNLSNR. Don't forget to use the hashtag #SNRHUNT.
For those who are not social media savvy, send your pictures to snrwebmaster@unl.edu to participate in the hunt.
The contest ends at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 11 and entries will not be considered after that time. Winners will be randomly selected from people who have submitted images of at least four of the five locations by the deadline.
There will be one winner from the faculty/staff ranks announced at the SNR Holiday Potluck at noon, Dec. 11. There will also be one winner for the graduate/undergraduate ranks announced at 2 p.m., Dec. 11 in the first floor main lobby. The winners will receive a $25 gift certificate from Nebraska Maps & More.
Best overall photo of all photos submitted will win a special prize.
Anyone with questions about "SNR Scavenger Hunt" rules or the contest can contact Amanda Bergeron-Bauer at 472-7471 or abergeron2@unl.edu. Good luck!
