UNL's College of Business Administration will offer three GMAT Strategy webinars in January to prepare prospective graduate students for the Graduate Management Admission Test.

The webinars, which are fully online, are scheduled from 8-9:15 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning Jan. 13, 2015. Stephanie Espy, founder and president of "MathSP: Strategies and Problem-solving," will lead the webinars. Specific topics for the webinars are:

Jan. 13: GMAT overview and sample study plan

Jan. 20: GMAT quantitative section and sample problems

Jan. 27: GMAT verbal section and sample problems

The GMAT measures verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills for graduate admission. The webinars are designed to give those interested in learning strategies and approaches for taking the GMAT a competitive edge. It also allows participants to focus on specific sections in greater detail than a one-day workshop.

"This webinar series will allow those interested in taking the GMAT from anywhere in the world to learn key strategies needed for the GMAT. They can focus on a select part of the exam in one of the sessions or choose to participate in all three sessions," said Nichole MacDonald, associate director of MBA programs. "Once they take these sessions, they have a plan for success."

Those interested in jumpstarting their GMAT prep are invited to register for any or all of the GMAT Strategy webinars at http://mba.unl.edu/gmat. The registration fee is $50 per session or $125 if a person registers for all three at one time. Each individual is required to have "The Official Guide for GMAT Review 2015," which will be used during the webinars.
