The Employee Assistance Program is offering smoking cessation programs. Options include group sessions, quitting with a friend or meeting individually with a counselor.
All cessation program participants will receive printed material and educational information about nicotine addiction. Individuals will learn about their specific triggers, why they smoke and develop coping strategies for stress. Areas for discussion include strategies for quitting, medications for withdrawal symptoms, and ideas for lifestyle changes to improve chances for success.
