The non-credit American Red Cross courses review and instruct procedures for adult choking and CPR training, as well as AED use. AED is a device used to supplement CPR when a victim has no evidence of circulation. Completed training of the one-day course provides students with a two-year American Red Cross certification.

Sessions will be held in the Campus Rec Center, Room 230 and fees are $60 for UNL students or Campus Rec members and $75 for the general public. Registrations are accepted up until the day of the courses online at the link below or in person at the Campus Rec member services desk. Large group trainings for UNL departments or community organizations are also offered at a variable rate.
