Adobe Creative Cloud provides software for graphic design, video editing and web development. Popular programs include Adobe Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. In certain university courses, students are required to subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud.

UNL students can access their free Adobe Creative Cloud account with a valid huskers.unl.edu email address. Additional software applications available for UNL student use at no cost include: MATLAB, Mathematica-Wolfram, Microsoft Office and National Instruments.

Students who may have already purchased individual Creative Cloud subscriptions may cancel through Adobe and re-subscribe through the campus license.

The campus license agreement with Adobe through September 2016 was purchased through student technology fee funding. Software contracts for the University are provided through a partnership between UNL Procurement Services and Information Technology Services.

Departmental Adobe licenses are available for $120 per year and may be purchased through the university's eSHOP. Personal, at-home use subscriptions are available to faculty and staff with departmental subscriptions for $10.
