UNL's 11th annual Fall Check-in for first-year students will be held Sept. 14, 15, 16 and 17. The program highlights and reminds students of academic expectations while providing information on involvement opportunities and academic resources.
Fall Check-in will be offered in three sessions: 3-4:15p.m., 4-5:15 p.m. and 5-6:15 p.m. each night in the Nebraska Union.
Faculty and staff will lead workshops that offer recommendations for academic success, undergraduate research, education abroad and mentoring opportunities, assistance with choosing a major, finding a student organization, honing time management and financial skills, succeeding in an online course, and working with an academic advisor.
More than 3,400 students attended last year's Fall Check-in.
