The watchable wildlife grant program is administered by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, with support from the Nebraska Wildlife Conservation Fund. This year’s grants totaled more than $13,000. Groups awarded grants in 2016 include:

Experiential Education Program; Prairie Loft Center for Outdoor and Agricultural Learning
Sacred Hoop Prayer Garden; John G. Neihardt Historic State Historic Site
Teaching Naturalist Skills to Children at the Heron Haven Wetland; Friends of Heron Haven
Sandhill Crane Educational Videos; IAIN Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary
Wildlife Trail and Development; Friends of Ash Hollow State Historical Park
