SciComm is a two-day conference on effective science communication that will be at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Sept. 23 to 24, 2016.
This conference provides an excellent opportunity to interact with and learn from other science communication enthusiasts, and SciComm 2016 promises to be even more exciting than the inaugural event held last year. This year, the conference features three separate events, including:
1. A science communication symposium featuring keynote speaker Melissa Marshall and other science communication experts
2. A broader impacts workshop organized in partnership with the National Alliance for Broader Impacts
3. Science Night Live!, an outreach and public engagement event at Lincoln’s Railyard
There is a $20 registration fee for the Saturday symposium, which includes the cost of lunch and refreshments. Registration for the symposium is capped at 300 participants, so be sure to submit your registration soon.
