The Environmental Studies Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln would like to invite you to an evening screening of the new release "From the Ashes," directed by Michael Bonfiglio. Produced by National Geographic, RadicalMedia and Bloomberg Phlanthropies, this film goes beyond the rhetoric of the "war on coal" to present compelling and often heartbreaking stories about what's at stake for our economy, health, and climate. The film invites audiences to learn more about an industry on the edge and what it means for their lives.
We will be hosting a discussion following the viewing. The event is free and is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 in Hardin Hall auditorium, 3310 Holdrege St., Lincoln.
