Throughout Martin Luther King Jr. Week at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, there are various ways to engage in service opportunities. The MLK Week of Service is a way to transform MLK’s life and teachings into community service that helps solve social problems.
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this year the MLK Committee has developed and curated a set of programs to bring campus and community together for a variety of service events. From community-partner-led in-person volunteer opportunities to providing a space for huskers and nonprofits to network; there is a way for every member of our community to engage.
