The Strive to Thrive Lincoln program enabled 674 UNL students to learn about and experience philanthropy over the last nine years. This has only been a reality thanks to donors. We are immensely grateful for their support.

In particular, we learned much from local philanthropist Rhonda Seacrest, who has supported our class through two gifts and regular visits to class and our grant ceremony.

In this edition of the Strive to Thrive Lincoln Update, we also would like to extend our thanks to alums of the class who made gifts over the past year to support the course grants. Three generous individuals representing the Fall 2016, Fall 2019 and Fall 2020 classes have contributed to the Strive to Thrive Lincoln Excellence Fund.

Regardless of whether or not you took the course or simply wish to encourage the next generation of philanthropists, your gift matters. Alums of the class will receive information this summer about giving opportunities, or you can give right now at the link below.

Anyone may make a tax-deductible gift of any size at this link: https://nufoundation.org/fund/01143880/

Your gift will benefit College of Business students enrolled in MNGT 411 as they experience the course, and it will also be allocated to a local nonprofit as part of the class grant process.
