Teaching at UNL

The Center for Transformative Teaching is offering grants to full-time faculty interested in creating transformative learning experiences that engage students in co-creating knowledge, increasing interdisciplinary inquiry, demonstrating achievement, and preparing for their futures.

Larger sums are available to support curricular innovation and reform at the department, program, and college level; smaller awards are available to support new pedagogical strategies, engagement in student-focused collaborations, and contributions to scholarly conversations in teaching and learning.

The CTT is committed to student success through inclusive, innovative, research-informed teaching and welcomes, in particular, proposals that align with the N|150 vision and mission. The grant programs are:

  • Program 1: Seeding Student Success — up to $50,000
  • Program 2: Pedagogic Intervention — $1,000 maximum
  • Program 3: Incubation Fund — $1,000 maximum
  • Program 4: Student-faculty Collaboration — $1,000 maximum

Applications are open until Jan. 9. Applicants may receive funding only once during an academic year. Details about each grant are listed on the CTT website.
