The First Husker program, coordinated by the office of First-Year Experience & Transition Programs, will welcome 185 First-Year, first-generation students to campus the week before fall semester begins. First Husker students participate in four days of programming and events designed to serve as a head start to their college experience from August 13th-16th.

To connect First Husker students to first-generation faculty members who are able to relate to their experiences, FYETP will host an ice cream social on Wednesday, August 16th from 2:20pm-3:30pm. All faculty who were themselves once first generation students are invited to attend. To confirm your attendance, complete the brief RSVP form found at this link: https://tinyurl.com/firsthusker.
