The College of Business believes as faculty, it is up to you to decide if you will allow the use of AI in your classroom. Regardless of whether you choose to allow it in your classroom or not, it is important that you communicate your expectations with your students in your syllabus.
We recommend if you have assignments where AI could be used and the use is not permitted and viewed as a form of academic dishonesty, that you specify this in your syllabus. It is also a best practice to specify in your syllabus what the punishment is for any academic dishonesty in your course.
