Paranormal investigator, documentary filmmaker, director and speaker Chad Calek will be at UNL Oct. 28 to talk about his experiences. The presentation is at 7:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Ballroom. Admission is free for UNL students with valid NCard and $4 for faculty, staff and the public.

Calek is an in-demand speaker at colleges nationwide. With his encounters with the paranormal as a child, his personal investigations of the country's most haunted locations and his time spent on A&E's "Paranormal State," very few paranormal investigators have as much insight and the evidence to back up their thoughts and theories on the paranormal. His unique experiences combined with his sense of humor, honest approach and genuine love for storytelling leaves audiences both shocked and entertained as Calek attempts to find answers to if ghosts are real.

The event is sponsored by the University Program Council, a volunteer student organization designed to address the co-curricular, social, recreational, cultural, and educational needs of the campus. For more information, go to http://www.unl.edu/upc.
