Castro's first novel earns national honor

Joy CastroA national Latino book club has named Joy Castro's debut novel, "Hell or High Water," a book of the month selection. Castro is an associate professor of English and ethnic studies. Set in New Orleans, the book follows a reporter's investigation into sex offenders after Hurricane Katrina. Continue reading…

 

Symphonic Band performance is March 15

UNL's Symphonic Band will perform at 7:30 p.m., March 15 in Kimball Hall. The "Absolute Music" concert is directed by Anthony Falcone and features faculty guest artist Paul Haar on tenor saxophone.
