Oklahoma State researcher featured in water lecture

The Spring Water Seminar Series continues with Oklahoma State University's Shannon Brewer, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., April 4 in the Hardin Hall auditorium. Brewer will discuss "Environmental Flows in an Arid Landscape." The lecture is free and open to the public.

Brewer is the assistant unit leader in fisheries at the Oklahoma Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit and adjunct assistant professor of natural resource ecology and management at OSU. She received her doctorate from the University of Missouri in 2008, and then spent two years working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in California. Brewer accepted her current position in 2010. Brewer's research focuses on the ecology of stream organisms.
