UNL College of Engineering students celebrate all week with community-building fun, from a Tailgate Kick-off to the always contentious Quiz Bowl, plus a Burrito-Eating Competition, Texas Hold'em Tournament and Mr. & Ms. Engineer Pageant.

At the Pi-K Race (3.14 kilometers), Nebraska Engineering will announce the winner of the drawing for an iPad.

The public is welcome to the annual Open House April 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Othmer Hall. View senior project displays and try hands-on activities including the longtime-favorite "Egg Drop" event.

At 10:30 a.m. in Othmer 106, hear the Open House keynote speaker: Pete Ludovice, "the engineering comedian" and an associate professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Lunch by daVinci's Pizza will be available for purchase.
