'Activate My Email' workshops begin May 1

All employees still needing to switch their UNL email account to the new Office 365 system can attend an “Activate my Office 365 Email” walk-in session beginning May 1. Employees will be able to activate a new mailbox, select a preferred email address and order migration for existing email and calendars.

The campus Lotus Notes system will cease delivering email on June 30.

Email and voicemail notification has been sent to employees who have not yet activated their new email. The email will contain information only — without hyperlinks to eliminate any resemblance to phony “phishing” requests.

UNL Information Services will never request passwords in email, on the phone or in person.

Employees who do receive emails that request personal information should not respond to the messages. Delete the email or forward the message to the Computer Help Center at mysupport@unl.edu.
