'Happy Days' to play Johnny Carson Theatre

The Lied Center for Performing Arts has teamed with Tada Productions to present "Happy Days: A New Musical," Feb. 10-13 and Feb. 17-20 in the Johnny Carson Theatre. Show times are 7 p.m., Feb. 10-11 and 17-18 and 2 p.m. Feb. 13 and 20. Tickets are $20 and are available through the Lied box office or online at http://www.liedcenter.org.

The musical is based on Paramount Pictures' hit television series "Happy Days." Complete with varsity sweaters, hula hoops and jukebox sock hopping, the performance reintroduces one of America's best-loved families, the Cunninghams, as well as the gang at Arnolds.

"Happy Days: A New Musical" was written by Garry Marshall, with music and lyrics by the Oscar award-winning composer Paul Williams.
