Symphonic Band performance to feature Clinton

The UNL Symphonic Band will perform "Milestones" at 7:30 p.m. March 6 in Kimball Recital Hall. Anthony Falcone, a senior lecturer in the School of Music, leads the band. Tickets, available at the door one hour prior to the performance, are $5 general admission and $3 for students (with valid identification) and senior citizens.

The concert will feature Mark Clinton, professor of music, on piano performing "Totentanz" by Frank Liszt. "Totentanz" was transcribed by Patrick Tucker for the Symphonic Band.

Other works featured include "Caccia and Chorale" by Clifton Williams; "In the Bleak Midwinter" by Gustav Holst; "Lincolnshire Posy" by Percy Grainger; "Funeral March for Rikard Nordraak" by Edvard Grieg; and "ABA March" by Edwin Franko Goldman.
