Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' at Mueller Planetatrium Aug. 26

Mueller Planetarium in the University of Nebraska State Museum's Morrill Hall will present Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon: The Fulldome Experience" at 7 p.m. Aug. 26. This will be the last showing of the summer. Museum hours Thursdays are 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m.

"Dark Side of the Moon: The Fulldome Experience" is not a laser light show as audiences have seen in the past. It features the next generation of computer-generated graphics. Experience Pink Floyd's popular rock album, "Dark Side of the Moon," in immersive fulldome digital format with both abstract and concrete imagery. This show is not intended for young children due to mature language. (43 min.)

Current schedule for Aug. 19-29:
* "Touching the Universe" - Thursdays, 6 p.m.
* "Dark Side of the Moon: The Fulldome Experience " - Thursdays, 7 p.m.
* "Earth, Moon, and Sun" - Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.
* "Black Holes" - Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m.

The updated fall schedule for Sept. 2-30 (except Mondays and UNL home football game Saturdays, Sept. 4, 11, 25):

* "Touching the Universe" - Thursdays, 7 p.m.
* "Earth, Moon, and Sun" - Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.
* "Black Holes" - Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m.

The schedule will be updated again beginning Oct. 2.

Planetarium tickets include museum admission and can be purchased at the museum's front desk the day of the show. Admission is $8 for adults, $5.50 for children, and $3 for UNL staff, faculty and students with valid NU ID.
