Extended Education and Outreach is offering funds to encourage the development of distance programs and courses. In 2009-10, more than $200,000 was awarded in distance course development grants.
Proposals are being sought for courses that support an approved online undergraduate or graduate program (S courses), undergraduate X courses, College Independent Study, and Advanced Scholars courses. For more information, go to http://go.unl.edu/nsw.
Applications are due by Oct. 20. Faculty will be notified of funding decisions in November. Individuals who receive awards will be recognized during a National Distance Learning Week event Nov. 16.
