A new discussion group for faculty and students in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines has formed. The Discipline-Based Education Research group will meet for a brown-bag discussion, noon to 12:50 p.m., Oct. 24 in Bessey Hall, room 109.

The group is designed to promote interdisciplinary discussions based on group members' active research projects and recently published research. The first meeting will be organizational, to get to know each other, and set the agenda for future meetings.

Faculty interested in education research and how it applies to undergraduate education are welcome to join the group.
