Nominees sought for faculty awards

The Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is seeking nominations for a variety of faculty awards. Award recipients will be honored at the University Honors Convocation in the spring.

The deadline for nominations for the Harold and Esther Edgerton Junior Faculty Award; College Distinguished Teaching Awards; and the Distinguished Teaching Award in the Humanities (Annis Chaikin Sorensen Award) is Jan. 21. Nomination materials are available online at http://go.unl.edu/pz6.

University-wide award information and nomination forms (OTICA, ORCA, UDTA, and IDEA) are available at http://go.unl.edu/wi9. The initial deadline for OTICA, UTDA and IDEA awards is Oct. 25. The deadline for ORCA nominations is Nov. 15.
