Union Pacific Railroad (UP) and the Marketing Department is offering for fall 2024, Marketing 490, Union Pacific Applied Projects Class. You will be working with managers at UP on three different business projects. Your role in this class will be working in teams as consultants to UP on the projects. The projects are judged on a competitive basis with feedback from UP managers. The class is interdisciplinary and open to all majors. The projects will cover different aspects of business.

This class is an opportunity to build your portfolio and experience working with a Fortune 150 company. The course is comparable to an intense internship in which you are working with managers at UP. You can list this on your resume or LinkedIn.
This class is open to students in all majors who have completed Marketing 341. The class will be a 3-credit hour class. Enrollment is limited, and applications need to be submitted. The application is attached and is available by contacting Rob Simon to get an application. Acceptance is based on your academic background, GPA (typically 3.0 or above), work experience, and outside experiences and training. The class will be held on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. The class will be an in person class.
