For many students, being an Orientation Leader has been one of the most rewarding experiences of their college career. Living in Lincoln for free during the summer while making an hourly wage, gaining new friendships, working with other leaders on campus, developing skills that will make you more marketable in your career field and impacting the lives of incoming freshman and transfer students are just a few of the benefits. You also have the opportunity to work with and get to know faculty and administration from a variety of the departments
Last year the average summer earnings of an orientation leader was $3,800. Housing and a meal plan were provided which was valued at $2,150 with a total compensation package of $5,950. There is an opportunity to take classes, study abroad or go home during the 2nd Five Week Summer Session
The review of applications will begin on November 7. You do have to answer several questions and references will be requested. Please start the application filing out the personal information and list the references section soon. The answers to the questions and letter of application can be added any time before November 6.
