Foundation for LPS Scholarship:
Monday, April 5th from 5 p.m . to 6 p.m., guest presenter Bailey Feit will come and speak about the next steps students will need to take in order to receive their scholarship award from the foundation. Students will learn about the documentation they will need to submit, as well as how the scholarship will be disbursed once the college year begins.
LinkedIn:
Monday, April 12th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., guest presenter Bryan Dosono will come present on how to build a professional profile through the LinkedIn platform. LinkedIn is a large networking site where students can build relationships and engage with professionals. By creating an attractive profile, you will become a better applicant for future internships or jobs!
Center for Academic Succession and Transition:
Monday, April 19th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., guest presenter Donny Bui will come and speak about the transition into college and how to manage their time while in college. The center provides academic and transition coaching, peer mentors, and interactive workshops.
Student Support Services:
Monday, April 26th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., SSS will come present their program to students. SSS provides TRIO Scholars (students who are income-qualified, first-generation, and/or have documented disability) with unique resources and a supportive community.
Seniors, make sure to be engaged during these workshops! This information is valuable for you as your transition to your post-high school experience. The senior exit interviews will be completed from May 3rd through May 18th. If you have any questions, contact Hoa Nguyen at 402-540-9235.
