The University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union was started by seven faculty members back in 1937. Soon after membership was expanded to include university staff and in 2006 university students were added to the field of membership. In the fall of 2016 the credit union began reaching out to Alumni and welcoming them to join as well. The founders were big on helping the university community to save, borrow and live better. We continue to focus on these principles. Today, the University of Nebraska FCU has over 11,000 members and over $100 million in assets. We offer mobile banking, mobile deposit, Internet banking, checking and savings accounts, credit cards, consumer loans, mortgage loans, business loans, online bill pay and many other services.
