All campus IT professionals are invited to a tech session update on the implementation of new computer client management tools, November 22, 11:30 a.m - 1:00 p.m. in the City Campus Union. Last month, UNL selected Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage Windows devices and JAMF's Casper Suite for Mac. These two tools will replace the use of Dell's KACE product at UNL.
The November session will cover timelines for implementation and deployment as well as communication plans for techs and end users. System testing, opt-in policies and procedures, and training for technical staff will also be presented.
