Information Technology Services is working to make every new departmental Huskertech purchase that includes Apple technology available for Apple’s Device Enrollment Program (DEP).
Apple DEP gives IT Administrators the ability to pre-configure endpoints before items have been unboxed, greatly reducing the time it takes to get technology into the user's hands.
As this project nears completion, ITS is asking that every Apple Technology purchase made through eShop include the department’s Enterprise Apple Deployment Program ID (ADP ID) in the External Notes field staring on July 1st. This will enable ITS to quickly identify which department the DEP eligible devices should be assigned to for management.
