Information Technology Services is launching a limited enterprise pilot for DocuSign, a digital electronic signature and transaction service, starting August 15. DocuSign is available anytime on any device and allows for electronic approvals and transactions between colleges, departments and outside entities, reducing costs and cycle times.

“DocuSign has been in use by various departments throughout the University,” said Bryan Kinnan, ITS client services coordinator. “We’re piloting an enterprise license to ultimately drive down costs across the board and make the service readily available.”

ITS is looking to partner with departments on the pilot, offering a total of 50 license seats on a first-come, first-served basis at $18.84 per month, per user. The pilot allows initiators to generate up to a total of 2400 documents for one year. Document signing is available free to anyone with an email address.

“We will evaluate the pilot and the demand for the service,” added Kinnan. “Based on a successful test, we hope to offer this University-wide.”
