Five more Ink kiosks have been added to UNL's City Campus. The new kiosks are set to be located in Harper Hall, Schramm Hall, Smith Hall, Husker Village and Husker Courtyards.
The pay-per-print service provided by Information Technology Services and Ink allows users to send documents from anywhere, securely, to any one of the kiosks on campus.
In conjunction, the Ink kiosks in Selleck Hall and Abel Hall will move outside their respective computer lab space later this fall to provide all-day access.
The moves will position the kiosks to have 24/7 accessibility with the hope that students will no longer feel the need to have personal printers in their dorms. In addition to increased access, Ink has focused on improving the kiosk's user interface.
"In our ongoing pursuit of printing perfection, with the help of UNL students, we've found ways to make printing even quicker and more user-friendly than ever," Ink CEO and Co-founder, Jonathan Manzi said. "Every second counts."
New features for this fall include the ability to email to print, free scanning of documents to USB or email and the option to fax from any kiosk.
