The next Agronomy and Horticulture seminar is March 28

Yufeng Ge, professor in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, will present “Rapid Soil Sensing for Precision Agriculture and Carbon Market,” on Thursday, March 28 at 11 a.m. in Keim Hall 150 or streamed live via Zoom at https://go.unl.edu/seminars.

Dense, quantitative soil data are increasingly demanded for applications like precision agriculture, climate modeling and carbon crediting. Ge’s lab has been working on enabling tools and systems for rapid, low-cost measurement of soil properties. In this seminar, he will cover a few projects his team has worked on, key results and lessons learned.
